What is a pre-production prototype?
This is an early, limited-run version of the product used to validate real-world performance before full production. It is functionally equivalent to the final product, but it is not the finished retail version.
How is this different from the final product?
You should expect differences in fit and finish, materials or cosmetic details, assembly methods, and firmware polish or feature refinement. The core functionality is there, but the final product will reflect what we learn from prototypes like this.
Why offer prototypes instead of waiting for the final product?
Real-world use makes products better. Offering prototypes allows us to validate durability, catch edge cases early, and refine the final design faster — with direct input from early supporters.
Why Early Supporters Matter

Is this product covered by a warranty?
No. Pre-production prototypes are not sold with a standard commercial warranty. However, we provide direct, best-effort assistance to help troubleshoot issues and learn from real-world use.
What kind of support will I receive?
Prototype supporters receive direct assistance from the product team, help diagnosing issues during normal use, and an opportunity to influence the final product. This is a collaborative early-access experience.
Can I return or get a refund if something goes wrong?
Because this is a pre-production prototype, sales are generally final. If your unit arrives dead on arrival or fails to perform its core intended function within 21 days of delivery, please contact us. We’ll work with you toward a reasonable resolution, such as a replacement prototype (if available) or a refund. Cosmetic imperfections, normal wear, and quirks related to early hardware are not considered defects.
Who should (and shouldn’t) buy a prototype?
This is a good fit if you enjoy early tech, understand that prototypes aren’t perfect, and want to help shape the final product. If you’re looking for a polished retail product with a full warranty, we recommend waiting for the production release.
